Social Media is so distracting
Creative opportunities are not opportune if nobody hears about them. In other words, I couldn’t think of anything catchy to open my post with, so I went with that one. What do you think? Eh? Whatever, I suppose I should…

Creativity:
art is
the key
Art exposes the cracks. It breaks through barriers and has the power to move us. Art gives us the inspiration to build connections and the curiosity to search for answers. When fear builds walls, art opens doors.
Connection:
When creative
people get together,
anything is possible
La Puerta is a catalyst for positive change. We’re using the emotive power of art to bring people together – to bring back our humanity and take a stand for a more connected and compassionate world.

Collaboration:
Build a stage
and the artists
will emerge
Every active imagination requires a outlet – and every artist requires an audience. Our platform is a playground for creative ideas. A place where artists and the community gather together to enable creativity to flourish.
Cultivate:
Big things Start small
Endings are just the beginnings of other stories – they are opportunities to learn and grow. La Puerta’s story is a journey made up of many openings. In our story, we start from wherever we are, with whatever we have – with all of the experience, energy and resources we can gather – and we begin.

The big picture:
Meeting
the moment
Throughout history, artists have seized the moment to turn adversity into opportunity. Using their creative vision, they’ve managed to capture our imagination and change the narrative.
CONFLICT:
Empathy
is in exile
Sometimes, the threats have come from beyond the walls. But in our story, the adversary is not foreign. So we’re forced to search on the inside.
“We have met the enemy and he is us.”
